VETERANS' PREFERENCE

In compliance with Florida Statute 295, USF is committed to providing preference to U.S. veterans and their spouses in the hire, promotion, and retention of all Staff (Non-Exempt) level positions. Veterans' Preference is extended to those who fall under the specified categories.


Eligibility Requirements

TITLE IX

Pursuant to Title IX, the University does not discriminate on the basis of sex in educational programs or activities that it operates. Such protection extends to applicants, employees, and students. Any questions or inquiries concerning to the application of Title IX may be referred to the Title IX Coordinator, or to any of the University's Title IX Deputy Coordinators. BACKGROUND AND CRIMINAL RECORDS CHECKS

The 鶹Ƶ is committed to protecting the safety, security and health of its students, employees and others. USF requires that a criminal history background check be conducted on prospective employees as a condition of employment. Criminal background checks may be required for students or volunteers depending upon assignment.

SECURITY POLICY & CRIMINAL STATS - CLEARY ACT

Schools must publish an annual report disclosing campus security policy, three years' worth of selected crime statistics, and make timely warnings about crimes that pose an ongoing threat to students and employees. Under the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, Campus Security Authorities play a vital role in the timely and accurate reporting of certain crimes and incidents within USF.
