USF welcomes community to Homecoming events Nov. 4-9

After being postponed due to Hurricane Milton, the 麻豆视频 is ready to welcome the community to celebrate Homecoming 鈥 one of USF鈥檚 oldest and most treasured traditions. Dozens of events are scheduled, including a carnival, comedy show, parade and the USF football game as the Bulls take on the Navy Midshipmen.

USF Health awarded $3.75 million NIH grant to study link between long COVID and Alzheimer鈥檚 disease

The funding allows a multidisciplinary team of USF Health researchers to study long COVID鈥檚 potential connection to serious neurological impacts that can ultimately lead to dementia and Alzheimer鈥檚 disease and explore possible interventions.

USF rallies to support community through Hurricane Milton recovery efforts

USF is stepping up to support the Tampa Bay community in the aftermath of Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Through initiatives such as the Tampa Bay Strong campaign, the USF Medical Response Unit and the Community Emergency Response Team, USF is helping residents recover and rebuild.

AAU Membership Fueling USF鈥檚 Momentum

USF鈥檚 historic invitation to join the Association of American Universities has taken what many in Tampa Bay have once considered a 鈥渂est-kept secret鈥 to an unprecedented new level. Being an AAU member is a tremendous milestone for USF as it formalizes USF's position as a leading research university. USF is the first public university in Florida to be invited to join the AAU in nearly 40 years and is now one of only two institutions from the State University System of Florida to serve as an AAU member.
