USF Pearls

What We Do

USF PEARLS is a program designed with you in mind. Rooted in a strengths-based approach, each PEARL will be offered:

Care Coordination

Individual Coaching:

    • Each PEARLS student is connected to a success coach who will be a dedicated resource for their success and growth throughout their time at USF

Group Collaboration:

    • PEARLS have the opportunity to work alongside program peers during educational activities with learning outcomes tied to independent living skills

Resource Coordination

    • PEARLS students have access to financial assistance

    • The PEARLS staff supports students in connecting with a variety of campus and community resources to help them achieve their academic and personal goals.

Mentoring Program (Coming Soon!)

Faculty and Staff:

    • Each PEARL who is interested will be paired with USF faculty, staff, or alumni, who serve as a mentor throughout their academic journey.

PEARL Ambassador:

    • Each PEARL will have the opportunity to become a PEARL mentor to assist new students in the program to acclimate to the university.

Educational and Social Activities

The PEARLS program will host different events, programming, and outings for students to connect with one another in a fun social setting with an independent learning outcome connected to the goal-directed group work.

Campus Housing

For PEARLS students who live on campus, the PEARLS staff can work with housing to provide housing over campus breaks.

Advocacy

Our program will advocate for each student's needs locally, nationally, and here at USF.
