The latest versions of Chrome and Microsoft Edge will generate a pop-up window asking those using Box to allow or block access when a website they are on tries to connect to software installed on their computer.
Please click "Allow" when prompted. The 'Box Tools' feature will not function without clicking to allow local access. See the image below.
This prompt is used only for authentication. Box will not access or read information from other devices on your local network. It communicates only with the device where 'Box Tools' are being used.
